Craig's Cub Scout Day Camp was held in Moorpark, CA at Underwood Family Farms just 10 minutes from our house. Most of the camp activities were set up right under a grove of Walnut trees, so we enjoyed plenty of shade. It was nice! We did a hike around the farm fields & saw all the different food they grew there. We got to pick & eat fresh strawberries. Delicious! Farm hands were firing rifles throughout the day to scare off the birds in the corn fields. Sometimes they set off firecrackers. The loud gunfire kept us all on our toes!
