Early Christmas Gift

Yes, we are moving once again.

Chris was offered the plant manager position for Milgard Windows in the Tualatin, OR plant!

This is a great reward for him after all his hard work this past year in their training program. He was one of the few candidates at Milgard - Simi Valley to train & be offered a senior management postition in such a short amount of time in the company. CONGRATS CHRIS!

We are all so proud of you!

This will be our 9th move in 15 years. But, who's counting. (uh, that would be me, Christine)

There is a "coming full circle" effect in all of this. Chris' parents both grew up in Portland, we were married in the Portland Temple, Christine & Cassie were both born in Oregon, and Chris' family lives just up the 1-5 in Tacoma, WA, about a 2 hour drive. So, it's a great move for our family. The cost of living will certainly be more affordable there than here in Simi Valley. We have enjoyed our year in the LA area & are grateful for the friends & memories we made while we were here. Chris' last day at the Simi plant is next Wednesday. We'll travel & spend a few days out in Mesa & Goodyear, AZ for a wedding a visiting friends & then Chris will head up to Portland & start working just after New Year's. The rest of us will join him within the month after we work out the housing details. Thanks for your continual prayers, love & support for us.
