Cassie closed out her freshman track season with a stellar performance at the district championships Friday. She competed in the 1500 (above) and finished the race with a PR, 5:02, placing 6th! As she lined up for her other race, the 800, the rain came a-tumblin' down! Still, she was able to pull out an 8th place finish in 2:33.
Cassie really enjoyed doing track! In her own words, "Track was beast!" What she enjoyed even more were all the new friends she made on the team. The other girls she ran with are beautiful on the inside & out, much like her. : )
What a wonderful combination: sports and friends! : )
