Several Newberg water polo players were selected as All-Pacific Conference performers after completion of the regular season this week.

Senior Taylor McMaster was named the league’s most valuable player and was joined on the All-Pacific Conference boys first team by senior Colton Saunders, senior goalie Kristian Hansen and junior Kale Rogers.

Rounding out the first team were Cameron Coupe and Mike Meade of Tualatin and Lakeridge’s Zach Sipiora.

No Tigers were named to the second team, but seniors Matthew Hanson, Ricardo Marino and Miles McKenzie were tabbed with honorable mentions.

Newberg also placed a league-high four players on the girls first team after finishing second to Tualatin.

Senior goalie Meghan O’Halloran, as well as sophomores Alysha Bush, Cassie Beecher and Alexis Vargis, received first-team honors.

Sophomore Clara Pugsley also received honorable mention accolades for Newberg.
