Good Day For A Virgo

Other than battling a sinus infection & having to go to work, Chris had a great birthday. After a day at the office, he came home & opened his presents. He was spoiled with a new NCAA football, Madden '07, flip flops, gummy bears, snickers & a French apple pie from Marie Calendars.
Keith Cunningham showed up shortly after the gift opening. He is one of our friends from San Antonio & he is on business here in LA this week. Keith was so kind to make the drive out here to Simi & spend some time visiting our family. It was great to catch up on all the happenings of his family & our old ward. Sounds like everyone is doing great!
We all went to dinner together at Chilis (Chris' favorite). The service was horrible! So, that was bummer. But, the company & good laughs made up for it.
Back at the Beecher house, we had the pie & ice cream. The service was much better. We talked for a while & then the phones starting ringing from birthday wishers, so Keith took off. It was fun hanging out with him again!
Last night was Cassie's school's open house. I went on my own. Chris was waiting in line at the stake center to get his recommend renewed. We are FINALLY making it over to the LA Temple this evening. It was closed when we moved here for renovations & just opened again in July. We are excited!
Here are some pictures from Chris' birthday, Colin's buddies, & Cassie doing order of operations homework (math + vocab + flute practice) X (and more where that came from)= welcome to 6th grade!

Thanks for the Great Report on Chris's B-Day. We love the pictures ... especially Colin & his friends.
