Did You Miss Me?

Sorry for the extended absence. I've been really busy this month! So, here are the highs, lows & in-betweens for the last 2 weeks:

-Still teaching piano lessons twice a week. I have 2 cute 1st grade girls & it's fun!
-Colin had his first school Valentine's party. He LOVED the day!
-Craig's basketball season ended...in a tie.
-Chris' parents came for President's Day weekend! We went out for a lovely double-date Valentine's dinner. Chris & his dad did some biking. Kathy & I shopped the outlets.
-Craig gave his first talk in sacrament meeting.
-Cassie went to her first stake Gold & Green Ball. It was a 50's theme.
-I sat in many youth conference planning meetings & attended Yamhill's ward conference.
-Went to dinner with Chris' old boss & his wife from Simi Valley while they were in town.
-Had an X-ray done on the finger I jammed back on Thanksgiving during the Turkey Bowl.
-Still volunteering in Colin's class 3 days a week. LOVE IT!
-Kids had dentist appointments...no cavities!
-More stake YW meetings.
-Worked the Portland Home & Garden Show with Chris at the Expo center for a day. Very cool!
-Made youth conference punch cards. Thanks MOM & DAD for the great idea!
-Woke up early before youth conf. & went out to breakfast with Chris. It was such a spur-of-the-moment thing & we had a wonderful time! We will MOST definately do that again. : )
-Attended stake youth conference.
-It was Cassie's first youth conference! She loved it!
-Played the piano for a backyard wedding. I did good!
-Started playing women's basketball with women from around the valley at an open gym night our city, parks & rec opened up for us. We play every Tuesday night. 10 women showed up tonight. At least 5 of them played junior college ball. They are awesome!

What's Ahead:

-100th day of school tomorrow!
-Stake YW leadership meeting.
-Girl's camp meetings.
-Craig is going on a cross-country ski trip with his scout troop! Fun!
-Cassie starts water polo. She is excited! And she will continue to do swim team as well. She's an Energizer bunny!
-Craig's first band concert.
-Stake Beehive Conference.
-Cassie is playing her bassoon at the middle/high school Solo Ensemble Festival.
-Daylight Savings time begins.
...and all of this happens before we finally go on a much needed vacation to California March 12th
Chris will be riding Solvang & we are going with him this year! We can't wait to see our friends the Dunfords, see the SUN, see Chris' parents, see the "men" come across the finish line, see some Simi friends & see Bob. Most of all, I'm counting the days to some rest & relaxation with Chris & the kids.
